Annapolis Basin

On the right is the fabulous Digby Cup which is awarded every year to the overall winner on corrected time for the Admiral Digby Cup Race. This cup had not been awarded since 1904, until 2001, and has been taken out of retirement specifically for this race. Past winners of the Cup include C.W. Danforth with his yacht, ALTON, in 1903, Neil Woodside with UNDINE in 2001, Andrew von Hirsch with POPPAEA in 2002 and J.Steven White with VORTEX in 2003.




The 2004 Admiral Digby Cup Race will start in Bass Harbor, Maine on July 2nd (time to be announced)and finish the following day in Digby, Nova Scotia.
The Skippers Meeting will be held at Morris Yachts In Bass Harbor at 1800 hrs on Thursday July 1st followed by cocktails and light food. There will be cocktails and dinner in Digby when the awards will be presented. On Sunday July 4th there will be additional races in the Annapolis Basin to determine the winner of the Acadia Cup.
